About the show...

We wanted to start our own podcast after listening to, and being inspired by The Dawn and Drew Show. The only problem that we had was that finding time to record was difficult. The one option that seemed to work, and was when we had our most entertaining conversations was when we were in bed before we sleep. So, we get ready for bed, hop in and record away. We may, infact be podcast pioneers; we podcast naked.

Wintertime podcasting might get interesting, as our bedroom gets really cold. It is on "off to the side" addition to our 1920's house that originally started as two rooms about 10' x 10' each. During a construction/deconstruction phase to our bedroom in 2002, we temporarily removed the heat from the room. It has yet to be reinstalled.

From time to time we'll pick up plenty of background noise; purring cats, fire trucks, and the guard dog down the street, all of which add to the charm of our neighborhood.

Our current setup includes:

• A PIII laptop running Windows XP
• Audacity
• An Alesis8USB mixer
• An MXL 990 mic
• A boom mic stand
• Movable Type
• FeedBurner
• Cat hair. Lots and lots of cat hair.
